🎮 How to Use

Basic Workflow

1. Create a note: Press C or double-click empty space
2. Write your thought: Start typing immediately
3. Format text: Select text and use Ctrl+B for bold, Ctrl+I for italic
4. Change colors: Click the color picker when note is selected
5. Move notes: Drag anywhere on the note
6. Resize: Drag the edges
7. Organize: Press R to auto-arrange by color

Keyboard Shortcuts

Navigation

• Tab / Shift+Tab — Select next/previous note
• Enter — Edit selected note
• Esc — Finish editing / Deselect / Minimize window
• F1 or Ctrl+H — Show help

Note Management

• C — Create new note
• X — Close selected note (or quit if none selected)
• R — Organize notes by color
• Ctrl+R — Reset sizes and organize

📦 Installation

Windows

1. Download Papirus-Windows-x86_64.zip
2. Extract to any folder
3. Run Papirus.exe
4. (Optional) Create a shortcut for easy access

macOS

1. Download Papirus-macOS-universal.dmg
2. Open the DMG file
3. Drag Papirus.app to Applications
4. On first launch, right-click and select "Open" to bypass Gatekeeper

Linux (Debian/Ubuntu)

1. Download papirus_*_amd64.deb
2. Install: sudo dpkg -i papirus_*_amd64.deb
3. Run from terminal: papirus or find in applications menu

Linux (Other)

1. Extract the portable binary
2. Make executable: chmod +x papirus
3. Run: ./papirus

🎨 Tips & Tricks

🐛 Known Limitations

• Notes are local to your machine (no cloud sync)
• Maximum note size depends on screen resolution
• URL links in notes are not clickable (display only)
